ADMISSION POLICY

Melaka International School welcomes applications from around the world.
Any Malaysian/non-Malaysian children between the ages of 4 – 18 years old can get admission into Melaka International School. Students can get admission from Kindergarten to O’ and A’ levels.

ADMISSION PROCEDURES

All application forms should be duly completed and returned to the admission office.

Admission form and Health form are to be returned together with the following:

1. An official transcript of grades/report for the final year from the pupil’s previous school.
2. An official school leaving certificate for the final year from the pupil’s previous school.
3. 1 recent passport-sized photograph must be pasted on the space provided in the application form. To submit additional 3 passport-sized photographs  as well.
4. A non-refundable application fee of RM 350 for Kindergarten and RM 500 for Year 1 to Year 12.
5.  A copy of the child’s birth certificate and/or other official document which indicates the date of birth.
6. Copies of parents’ identity cards in case of Malaysian National or passport copy for the non-Malaysians
7. A copy of the child’s proof of citizenship.

Applicants for the admission at MIS will be required to sit for an Entrance Test.

Entrance Test fee RM 100.00 (Ringgit Malaysian One Hundred) is to be paid before the entrance test.

Prior arrangement must be done with the Office staff if a student wants to sit for the Entrance Test. Entrance test will be conducted at MIS only.

The subjects for the entrance test are the English Language and Mathematics.

Upon notification of acceptance, fee should be paid at the administration office.

Students will be automatically promoted if they wish to remain at MIS.
